Class Information

Text Box: Ages 5 to 7: In this beginners’ class, children continue to learn basic skills and prepare dishes that are just plain fun! I like the children to use their imaginations and start to think on their own as to what they want their finished dish to look like… not just copy everyone else’s. We prepare dishes that allow them to do this.

Text Box: Ages 7 to 9: In this class, children are just starting to use sharp knives, the oven and stove. We prepare a wide array of dishes as well as covering the basics. We also play games such as, “what’s this utensil?” and incorporate math in a fun way!
Text Box: Ages 10 to 13: In this class, we prepare everything from appetizers to desserts using sharp knives, the stove, oven and other kitchen equipment. This is a fast- moving and fun class!

Text Box: Ages 3 to 5: For the young-chef-to-be! Children will prepare dishes they can relate to, such as: sandwich trains, the dip mobile, rainbow cupcakes, and mac‘n cheese.
We start to learn our way around the kitchen and focus on good hand-washing practices, sanitary food prep and other basic kitchen skills.
